Pleasant Chalk
Pleasant Chalk was developed as part of the ISART Digital project Juice It.
The goal of this project was to start from a deliberately bland and impersonal version of Asteroids, without sound, juice, or personality, and turn it into a juicy and satisfying experience.
The core gameplay rules were intentionally left untouched. All the work focused exclusively on feedback, effects, juice, and game feel.
As a result, the game design itself is not meant to introduce new mechanics, but to explore how much impact polish and feedback alone can have on the player experience.
Developed solo in two weeks using Unity.
